Scope/Purpose of Job 

To plan, organize, and manage an assigned division within the department to facilitate the delivery of services to students in the University.

Major Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison to applicable external agencies, internal departments, and applicable educational institutions representing different societies and clubs with respect to registration and application for events and contests.
  • Plan, organize and implement a variety of student events, workshops, trainings and contests in assigned area of responsibility
  •  Plan and implement, with student leaders, a calendar of co-curricular events that provide a welcoming campus environment and that support student recruitment, retention and the successful achievement of academic and career goals.
  •  Provide support in relation to all student activities, clubs, and organizations in order to compile and analyze data related to student participation and program evaluation.
  •  Review, maintain, and update the Student Handbook and other student-centered publications to maintain compliance with academic policy, administrative procedure, and other applicable guidance.
  • Arrange for university representation at conferences and meetings concerning student groups, communicate with other Student Affairs personnel, administrators and others to coordinate student activities and programs; exercise supervision of students attending local, and national conferences and seminars.
  • Communicate messages from HOD to all targeted recipients.
  •  Handle confidential correspondence files and other documents and information.
  •  Communicate with students, suppliers, and subcontractors for events and tours’ logistics.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.
