The Quality Engineer shall define, develop and implement Quality Assurance practices and procedures. Test Plans and other QC assessments should work collaboratively with development team during all stages of project, to deliver Quality Product.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and Ensuring the Quality of deliverables.
- Ensuring that delivered product complies with requirements and standards.
- Systems are deployed with no defects of high severity
- Customer feedback on project documents
- Designing and Supporting all testing activities.
- Prepare Test Cases that cover all project functions.
- Execute and Update all test cases.
- Production of QC deliverables during projects
- Timely delivery of Quality Products
- Execute all needed testing techniques & types
- Report defects accurately, assigned to the development team and review defects status
- Bug Tracking tools to report and track issues
- Logging and linking defects properly
- Continuously coordinate and maintain good relation with the development team.
- Reporting and continuously monitor the quality of work performed.
- Defect report per project is submitted on a weekly basis.
- Projects quality status is reported to the assigned leader on weekly basis.
- Communicate serious quality problems to designated leader or manager.
Skills
- Experience testing Android and/or iOS applications
- Experience Testing Web Application Platforms
- Proven track record to creating and executing on highly effective quality processes
- Experience driving end-to-end software quality
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- Experience in writing test plans, test automation, or test cases.
- Is innovative, can simplify and has relentlessly high standards
- Can juggle testing of multiple releases with multiple dependencies
- Able to handle an extremely fast pace while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Hands-on experience with a Source Code Management system
- Knowledge in quality assurance and control concepts
- Knowledge of development languages such as JAVA, SQL, .net.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Knowledge in SQL, DB2 and Oracle
