Job Description

 

The Native Mobile App Developer will be responsible for creating compelling concepts for developing product based projects as well as engage user experience across varied platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Define technical design for Application (future phases require Enterprise integration, working with REST services, advanced features of Google API, working with Vendor Mobile APIS, Push notifications, etc.
  • Ability to project timelines, feasibility and alternative solutions
  • This position is responsible for development and maintenance of mobile applications
  • The candidate must have demonstrated experience in the front-end development lifecycle, including user interface design
  • Develop exceptional customer experiences using latest technologies
  • The candidate will be responsible for documenting design

What you will need to succeed:

  • A Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is preferred
  • 1-3 years of web portals, high end web apps development experience is required.
  • 1-3 years of developing mobile web applications/Hybrid apps across devices
  • Strong understanding of iOS, Android operating platforms
  • Strong experience in AngularJS and/or React Native Framework
  • Excellent programming skills in JAVA, REST and JSON
  • Understanding of various development methodologies, including: Traditional Waterfall and Iterative Development Methods (Unified Process and Agile)
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to triage technical issues
  • Communication, negotiation and facilitation skills are required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Web Development, specifically in the areas of mobile application and web design
  • Must have experience with hybrid mobile applications in jQuery, integration of Google API, leveraging existing databases and data sources
  • Must have knowledge to help team uncover developing a mobile platform
  • iPhone/Android/Blackberry platform deployment experience
  • Ability to work in a project team setting
  • Demonstrated experience in developing mobile experiences based
  • Understanding of mobile technologies and platform differences
  • Experience with architecture design concepts and techniques and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to a broad based team.
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to triage technical issues and drive resolution with cross functional teams.
  • Communication, negotiation and facilitation skills are required
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with people in all levels of the organization (cross-functional, on/shore technical teams and senior management)
  • Understanding of various development methodologies, including: Traditional Waterfall and Iterative Development Methods (Unified Process and Agile)
