JavaScript Developer (2 To 5 Years of Experience)
SCOPE OF THE JOB
JavaScript Developer will be responsible to work in Node, JS Angular 2, Ionic and Cordova technologies in direct coordination with international clients. Qualified candidate will be expected to work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. Implementing visual elements and their behaviours with user interaction will be the core job role. Further responsibilities include technical design, estimating, developing and working closely with local and foreign teams to ensure a quality delivery, as well as introducing new ideas and contributing to continuous improvement of the client’s development approach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
- Responsible for working with the Business Analyst and Quality Assurance teams of the clients to develop a solution to satisfy the business requirements
- Collaborating on requirements and solutions with both local and foreign team
Essential Skills
- Must possess essentials JavaScript skills including HTML5, Node, CSS, JSON, Angular 1 or 2, Cordova, Ionic, Jasmine and Web 2.0
- Knowledge of end to end project lifecycle and experience in software development projects
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, single page apps, and AJAX
- Good understanding of browser rendering behaviour and performance
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- A keen interest in the latest development trends
- Passionate about quality e.g. continuous integration, automated testing, static code analysis and code reviews.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of delivery of hybrid mobile development
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Mercurial or Git.
- Understanding of technologies such as ES6, Typescript, Objective C/Swift, Android, Windows Mobile, Mongo DB, REST, XML, Protractor, Mac OS X, Shell scripting.
- Good understanding of Java and associated frameworks such as Spring
DESIRED SKILLS
