We require an excellent accounts manager to lead and manage our bookkeeping and accounts department Responsibilities for Accounting Manager:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions
- Responsible for all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card expense report reconciliation, cash applications, collections, and payroll,)
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships,Team Building,
- Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial processing, month end close, cash management reports, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Help with Monthly quarterly and year-end financial activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
Qualifications for Accounting Manager:
- CFAP Candidate of ICAP or ACCA Qualified plus articles completed from reputable organizations.
- 3+ years post articles experience with at least 1.5 years in of it being in a Managerial role
- At least one year experience with quickbook online is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
- Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
