The Senior Business Development Executive will lead and oversee the development and growth of the profitable new business; develop and maintain effective key customer relationships as well as ensure business growth through directing and managing business development activities.

Responsibilities: 

  • Generate new sales leads and long-term account opportunities through prospecting and cold calling. 
  • Create accurate sales forecasting and reports.
  • Gather requirements from the clients and share the client requirements with the development and project management team according to the Standard SOP.
  • Identify and develop relationships to grow business with prospective and existing customers.
  • Identify and explore new emerging markets and target clients.
  • Bidding on multiple sales portals like Upwork, Toptal, freelancer, and PPH. Moreover, manage multiple profiles at the same time. 
  • Generating sales from different sales funnels like email, cold calling, gathering clients contacts details from different social media plate forms like LinkedIn.  
  • Align with the project management team to ensure that they understand the client's requirements.
  • Provide training to the junior team members. 
  • Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices. 
  • Ensure that his/her individual & overall team sales targets are achieved.
  • Produce a weekly activity report of sales, appointments, and networking events – ensuring that a pre-agreed level of weekly sales calls are taken off-site with new and potential clients are met. 
  • Work with clients to produce customized business proposals/solutions based on prospective clients' specific needs.
  • Oversee, maintain and upgrade existing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Work with Business Development Manager to design and implement a strategic sales plan.
  • Any other task assigned by the manager. 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ direct sales experience. 
  • Experience of the IT Industry is compulsory.
  • BBA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
  • Must be extremely effective at initiating high-level contacts in accounts and have strong presentation skills to close the sale. 
  • Creativity and ingenuity in developing successful sales strategies; have a working knowledge of the industry along with a pulse on what is forthcoming. 
  • Ability to generate leads and build a business in a wide-open market. 
  • Possess growth-oriented philosophy and be able to manage growth
