Civil Engineer will perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities. He will spend time outdoors at construction so that he can monitor operations or solve problems onsite.

- Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
- Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.

- Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
- Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects.
