We would like to hear from people with the following:
- Experience of developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Experience of connecting to multiple data sources and building datasets in Power BI.
- Experience of using DAX to create custom data objects within Power BI.
- Experience of setting up workspaces, reports, dashboards and scheduled refreshes in Power BI.
- Experience of analyzing data, generating insights and visualizing data in support of business initiatives.
- Understanding of administrating the Power BI Service tenant at global level.
Experience in the following areas would be beneficial to the role:
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in an agile way on data projects.
- Knowledge of other data tools within the Microsoft stack i.e. SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and AAS.
- Experience of using other data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau and QlikView.
- Knowledge of SQL and using it to query databases in particular SQL Server databases.
- Familiar with the fundamentals of cloud computing in particular Azure.
- Knowledge of Azure data services components and the role they perform.
- Knowledge of Azure Data factory and using it for data orchestration would be a bonus.
