Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain SSIS Packages with other BI Major/Minor enhancement projects and contribute skills to project as and when required.
- Lead planning and implementation of ETL projects. Job holder will actively participate in the requirement gathering & analysis, design and understanding of end-to-end ETL solution architectures, testing and implementation phases enabling performance of the entire platform.
- Responsible for reviewing ETL mapping / workflows and actively engage in design discussions for all Business Intelligence and database initiatives. Should be well adapt to develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis.
- Work with IT project manager to determine project missions, goals, tasks, timelines and resource requirements; manage the overall Project Plan; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between BI projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project’s overall progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
- Present verbal and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management during the project life cycle; Identify critical success factors and mitigate risks to the project during its lifecycle.
- Working Knowledge of Azure Data factory tools, creating pipelines, Scheduling, package configuration is essential
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree – Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics/Telecommunication, Industrial Engineering.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT
- Minimum 5 years of ETL SSIS development experience.At least 2 years of development experience in a banking project
- Experience in Requirements gathering, development and deployment of SSIS
- Experience in conceptualizing and designing Data Migration projects
- Expert in data validation, cleansing, analysis and Transforming
- Experience in using SSIS Transformations like Lookup, Merge, Union ALL, Multicast
- Skilled in error and event handling: precedence Constraints, Check Points and Logging
- Experience in importing/exporting data between different sources using SSIS
- Have Experience in performance optimization and expert in writing SQL queries
- Communication skills in English (listening, speaking and writing)
- Ability to work on client projects on client premises
- Ability to travel to for project assignments in various countries.
