Vertex It Service is seeking a QA Automation Engineer resource that is excited and enthusiastic about his work and competent and professional to become a part of our team. Work Location: Lahore, Pakistan
Timing: 06:00 PM to 02:00 AM (Pakistan Time)
What you will do:
- Design and drive implementation of end-to-end test automation frameworks needed to test all the dimensions of products including functional correctness, performance, scale, and security
- Create automation of Acceptance, Unit, Functional, Regression
- Explore new areas and technology to improve automation and QA efficiency
- Identify new approaches and suggest tools/techniques to fast track the automation effort
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and resolution skills
- Participate in the development, deployment, and administration of QA process, tools, and supporting technologies
- Writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
What You Require:
- BS/MS in Information Technology, Computer Science, from a well reputed Institute
- Must have 1 to 5 Years experience as QA Automation Engineer
- Ability to write clean, efficient and reusable code using Java and JavaScript
- Experience of working with latest QA Automation tools and framework
- Must have experience in full lifecycle QA activities including Creation of tests and automation of test scripts
- Experience with API Testing Tools (Postman, SoapUI, Rest-Assured)
- Experienced in using Test Management tools such as Rally, JIRA, HP Quality Centre, HP ALM
- Experience of working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Should have hands-on experience working with code respiratory Git, GitHub
- Able to work independently with minor guideline and mentoring
- Nice to have experience in Mobile Automation using Appium
- Strong concepts of object-oriented programming
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience of working with Jira
- Familiar with XML and JSON format and must learn how to parse them.
- Must be eager to learn new skills and work in a fast-paced work environment
- Must have good organizational management and very strong English communications skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven, and flexible
