Vertical Developers is seeking a dedicated CCTV Operator with at least four years of experience to join our security team. The ideal candidate has a clear understanding of surveillance monitoring, incident reporting, and security protocols to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves continuously monitoring CCTV systems, responding promptly to alarms and sensor alerts, and accurately documenting security incidents. The CCTV Operator is vital in maintaining an effective security environment by observing access control systems and coordinating emergency response procedures when necessary. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential to perform this role successfully. The CCTV Operator plays a critical role in identifying and managing security threats using intrusion detection systems and alarm monitoring. The candidate must demonstrate dedication to their responsibilities and ensure that all security incidents are handled in line with established procedures. While this position does not involve managing a team, it requires proactive engagement and accountability to support overall organizational safety. The operator must work closely with security personnel to maintain comprehensive surveillance coverage and uphold security incident management standards at all times.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live CCTV camera feeds to detect and identify suspicious activities or security breaches promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of surveillance footage and prepare detailed incident reports for security incidents.
- Operate and manage alarm and sensor systems, responding immediately to alerts and coordinating emergency responses when necessary.
- Implement and adhere to company security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Inspect and verify access control systems operation, ensuring authorized entry and preventing unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with security and emergency personnel to efficiently manage security incidents and minimize potential risks.
- Conduct regular system checks and maintenance reporting on CCTV surveillance systems and alarm monitoring equipment.
- Investigate and escalate security incidents according to the company's incident response procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the handling of sensitive security information and footage.
- Stay informed and update knowledge on emerging security technologies and best practices relevant to surveillance and incident management.
