We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team and help create captivating video content for a variety of digital platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and assembling footage for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and YouTube channels. A strong ability to tell stories through video, with a keen sense of pacing and sound design, is essential to deliver polished and engaging videos that reflect our brand’s identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into finished videos optimized for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Enhance videos by incorporating motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and background music.
- Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative content ideas.
- Maintain brand consistency and uphold visual standards across all video projects.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest editing techniques, industry trends, and software advancements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a video editor, supported by a portfolio or sample work.
- Proficiency in professional editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative flow.
- Knowledge of color grading, audio syncing, and integrating motion graphics.
- Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with animation or motion design techniques.
- Familiarity with sound mixing and voice-over editing.
- Basic skills in photography or videography.
- Understanding of social media algorithms and trends, especially related to short-form content.
- This opportunity is available in various formats including full-time, part-time, contract, internship, and fresher positions. The contract length is three months. Please note that the internship is unpaid, and candidates should be comfortable with this arrangement.
- The role requires in-person attendance. Applicants will be asked to provide a link to recent video editing work or a portfolio. Experience or completion of relevant courses or internships in video editing will be considered an advantage.
