We are looking for a full time/part time Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The right candidate will have a proven SQA background, excellent troubleshooting skills and great teamwork. Communication and collaboration skills are critical for our project teams to deliver quality IT systems. If you are looking for a team that works hard to get the job done, but has fun the whole time.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Execute the test life cycle including test design, test case development, test execution, and defect reporting
- Work with business and technical resources to clarify requirements and propose solutions
- Plan and execute functional, system, regression, integration and usability testing as needed
- Create and maintain test data and test documentation
- Assist with development and improvement of test processes and tools, where applicable
- Communicate test status, risks and issues to project management and team members
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing and sign off
- Troubleshoot post-production issues in partnership with technical and business analysts
- Evaluate existing business processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Great communication skills with proven ability to collaborate with colleagues in a cross functional, team-oriented environment
- Applied knowledge of the application development life cycle. Experience with both Agile and other methodologies
- Can take technical information and translate it to human terms.
- Can lightning-fast learn embedded systems, automation and other technologies
- Is not overwhelmed with competing priorities, and projects.
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent; related work experience may be substituted for educational requirement
