- Initiate the process of LC / Import Contract, documentation, finance requirement, draft confirmation and execution of transaction.
- Keep an eye on the shipment movement and arrival in Pakistan. Shipping Guarantee & Retirement of documents.
- Make arrangements for the movement and customs clearance of the Mobile Phones, Spare Parts and Marketing Material for both by Sea and by Air.
- Keep an eye on the customs clearance process while the shipment is under clearance.
- Make arrangements for the export of Phones & to make arrangement for the re-import of the replacement phones.
- Check the bills and arrange vendor payments. Manage and keep the import documents.
- Application and Acquisition of Type Approval Certificate from PTA for every Model & Provisional license for assembly.
- Reconciliation of Agent’s, Insurance, Banks, PD Account details / Ledgers with finance and making payments in due timeline.
- Maintain relationship with the clearing agency, Banks, Customs Officials and other regulatory bodies in order to ensure smooth flow of operations.
- Keep an eye on the change of custom duty updates.
- Make Monthly cost analysis for spare parts import, faulty phones import and replacement phone report.
- Make reports and other tasks as per the instructions of the department director.
