- Preparing Drafts of Sales Tax Returns U/s 26 of the Sales Tax Act 1990 and Withholding Tax Returns U/s 165 of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001.
- Computing all the input data of sales tax return including Domestic sales, purchase and Import, Export.
- Preparing the Sales Tax Invoices by compiling the data according to the section 23 of the Sales Tax Act 1990.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits U/s 176, 177 of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 and Withholding Tax Reconciliations under Rule 44(4) of the Income Tax Rules 2002.
- Preparing the Withholding Tax summary and ensure that the data is reconciled with ERP System.
- Making of Bank Challan (PSID) of withholding tax according to the relevant sections mentioned in the Withholding tax summary file and issue Deduction Certificates under Rule 42 of the Income Tax Rules 2002 to the Vendors.
- Always update yourself with new laws and amendments by the Government in the Income Tax ordinance 2001 and Sales Tax Act 1990.
- Identify and mitigate Non Compliance of tax Risk.
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
