Senior PHP Developer

A UK-based software house is looking for a Senior PHP Developer, with skills in PHP, Symfony, Doctrine, JavaScript and jQuery, to join their production team in Karachi. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PHP Developer to join a well-established organization in their field.  

On a day to day basis, the Senior PHP Developer will be working in close partnership with other Senior Developers as well as the CTO. He should maintain the flexible working relationship with other colleagues (team player) and should be a mentor for juniors. You will be required to work on a number of core products, gaining a full understanding of how the organization works and making enhancements to the products already released. The Senior PHP Developer will ideally have a strong understanding of Symfony2 and also be able to deal with clients on a regular basis.

The Senior PHP Developer will have skills in:-

· jQuery

· Bootstrap (Desirable)

· Strong knowledge of MySQL and database structure

· Highly Proficient coding skills with PHP

· Experience working with Object Oriented Development

· Proficient knowledge of PHP and MVC Frameworks (specially Symfony)

· Experience with Front-End technology (HTML, CSS)

· Strong knowledge of JavaScript

· Experience working in a LAMP environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Knowledge of AWS Server management

· Experience with Test Driven Development

· Strong knowledge of JavaScript: AJAX, REST API is required

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant

Experience: 6-8 years of the relevant field
