Responsibilities:
- Building interactive consumer data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Node.js backend
- Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
- Address and improve any technical issues
- Collaborate and give directions to engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient systems
What You Need for this Position
- 4+ years working experience
- BSCS or related
- Our tech stack is NO SQL/SQL, Express/React/Node.js/Redux.
- Experience with REST and REST based integrations
- Experience leveraging deployment containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3, ECS and Lambdas
- Design and implementation of the overall web architecture
- “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
- Design and deployment of our database
- Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
- Design and construction of our REST API
- Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
Skills
- At least four years experience with: writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6
- Back-end programming language {Node.js}
- Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
- Server management and deployment for the relevant environment
- Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficiency with Git and repository management
- Appreciation for clean and well documented code
- Team management and mentorship experience
- Hands on experience with linux framework and proficiency with Bash
- Experience with Nginx and load balancer
- Experience with system security would be a plus.
