Wadic is seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman with at least one year of experience in 2D drafting using AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong skills in creating precise technical drawings and plans that support engineering and construction projects. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD to produce clear and accurate drawings that comply with project specifications and standards. The candidate must have their own laptop equipped with the necessary software to efficiently perform drafting tasks.
The AutoCAD Draftsman works closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate conceptual designs into technical drawings. This position involves interpreting technical information and collaborating with the project team to ensure drawings meet quality and accuracy standards. Attention to detail and the ability to follow drafting standards and project guidelines are crucial. The role does not involve team management responsibilities but focuses on individual contribution to drafting deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed 2D technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Interpret engineering and architectural designs to develop clear, precise drafts for construction and manufacturing purposes.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain consistent drafting standards and document control to support project requirements and compliance.
- Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary information and clarify design details before producing final drafts.
- Prepare drawings for client presentations, approvals, and construction use by ensuring clarity and completeness of details.
- Manage and organize electronic drawing files and documentation to ensure easy retrieval and version control.
- Utilize personal laptop equipped with AutoCAD software to complete drafting assignments efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation and reports associated with drafting tasks as required by the project team.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to AutoCAD features, drafting techniques, and industry standards to enhance work quality.
