Key Elasticsearch Responsibilities
- Provide Elastic Search relevancy tuning/optimization based on the specific client data structure
- Design indexed data structures based on various client product catalog hierarchies (flat vs parent-child, etc.)
- Develop queries/template fragments
- Faceting/Filtering
Required Skills
- Expert knowledge with the Elasticsearch/ELK platform - Ideally 3+ years of experience and someone who has built an enterprise-level ES solution before, preferably more than once
- Knowledge and experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
- Knowledge of common Internet technologies, standards, and protocols, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS.
- Working knowledge of APIs / Data formats JSON
- Experience with cloud-native development languages including Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Experience upgrading Elasticsearch versions
- Develop code with quality, scalability, and extensibility
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong Analytical and Communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with highly scaled distributed and mission-critical environments
- Experience creating commercial and internal APIs and frameworks
