Wali Systems Inc is a US based software development company that has been in business since 2010. We have a presence in the sprawling city of Lahore. We are urgently looking to hire a programmer team lead that has experience in LAMP technologies including PHP (core and frameworks), Javascript, etc. If you have experience in frameworks like CodeIgnitor, Zend, Laravel, Shopify, etc that will be a huge plus. Here are the requirements:
1. Command over language, good English skills, ability to communicate well with the American clients over email and chat.
2. Ability to mentor junior programmers
3. Ability to lead the team of developers.
4. Must have excellent understanding of software development life cycle and must be well versed with SDLC approaches like waterfall, etc. Should also have solid understanding of Agile.
5. Must be very disciplined and goal oriented.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Lead the team
2. Talk to the clients
3. Gather requirements, convert them into tasks, and assign to the developers
4. Mentor new developers
5. Have basic understanding of the business side of software development (not required but will be a big plus)
6. Play role in marketing and acquiring projects through direct and indirect marketing.
7. Be an active team member and play role in the growth of business
