Web Planet is looking for content writers with excellent skills and grip in writing creative and intriguing content. We writers will be responsible for writing and publishing web content; maintaining and updating web pages/blogs; monitoring and responding to user-contributed website content; and effectively participating in social media efforts for the company. Writing and publishing Web Content to attract and attain new traffic. Stir discussion, and drive traffic to company website and social media platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Idea generation, well thought and explained content
- Writes, schedules, and posts content online; maintains company web pages and blogs
- Post compelling and useful content to the company’s social media profile
- Moderates user-generated content on websites, blog and social media pages
- Helps plan and implement social marketing campaigns for specific marketing goals
- Monitors social media channels and conducts social listening on related topics
- Coordinate content creation & publishing of company newsletters (internal or external)
- Works with developers and designer for better content presentation and usage
- Works with developers to prepare technical and non-technical documentation of product
- Prepare internal and external communications including announcements, press releases, analytics reports, presentations, technical documentation, sales support, etc. as needed.
- Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends
Job Requirements:
- A must have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience in writing for the web, content management
- Experience or know-how of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Experience with social networks and implementation of social media marketing
- Experience with HTML, CSS (Ideally)
- Working with content management systems (Ideally)
