Job Description

  • Must be able to offer specialist, professional and competitive travel products to meet the demands of the travel market
  • Responsible for developing strategies to hit or exceed sales targets, 
  • Managing budgets and maintaining statistical and financial record sourcing products and destinations to meet consumer demands for bespoke travel and sustainable tourism
  • Liaising with travel partners, including airlines and hotels, to manage bookings and schedules dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations.
  • Meeting regularly with team leaders to give them figures and plan how they approach their work.
  • Communicating with sales consultants and providing encouragement, help and advice.
  • Helping with passport and immigration issues;
  • Assisting holiday makers check-in and settle into their accommodation;
  • Communicating a range of information on itineraries, destinations and culture;
  • Informing passengers of arrival and departure times at each destination on the itinerary and ensuring that all members of the group are back on the coach before departing from each stop;
  • Making sure all travel arrangements run according to plan and that accommodation, meals and service are satisfactory. Ensure all system standards are adhered to.
  • Show concern for all aspects of the job.  Follows up on work outputs
  • Responsible for the growth of the division and the company by overseeing customer relations.
  • Responsible for marketing travel management and MICE services to both corporate clients and international travel management companies.
  • Manage the day to day operation of the Department, upholding all our policies/procedures whilst demonstrating our Values Conduct
  • Regular personal interactions with team members provide regular feedback and coaching on performance, creating detailed Personal Development Plans through solution-driven discussions.
