The Role We need a Studio Manager. The WBM Manager will manage WBM services and liaison with our clients, vendors and teams to help drive solutions through establishment and documentation of strategic planning, conceptual design strategies, construction, and delivery for our clients. We are seeking an experienced and thorough professional who is both strategic & tactical and can excel within our diverse culture. The successful candidate will provide vision, solutions, education, analysis, and input for continuous improvement process.

Responsibilities

  • Operations & Office Management
    • Oversee WBM services to ensure an outstanding work experience.
    • Lead the WBM team
    • Manage communications between the departments, clients, vendors, workshop teams etc.
    • Handling orders, walk-in clients and queries.
    • On-going projects management updates follow up etc.
    • Ideas for new clients.
    • Managing the studio staff and designers calendars and to-do-lists.
    • At times assisting in market research.
    • Daily update and running of studio – (tasks completed / maintenance).
    • Daily update of orders, work in progress projects, pending work.
    • Organising a monthly  meeting with the office for the team to sit and discuss work and to share ideas, concerns etc. and weekly meetings to catch up on current orders.
    • Help create designs and ideas to add to the mood board.
  • Project Management & Improvement Process
    • The WBM Manager is the liaison between all clients and teams. The WBM Manager will help develop project scope / proposals and be the liaison between the design + build teams.
    • Collaborate with WBM Design, WBM Constructions, Finance, Printers, Vendors and workshop teams and provide regular email updates to clients and teams.

Requirements

 

  • §  5-7 years’ experience in a retail environment.
  • §  Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • §  A clear vision with regard to the maintenance of a vibrant, functional WBM.
  • §  Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service to enhance customer experience.
  • §  Ability to build rapport with employees in order to accurately assess facilities issues.
  • §  Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • §  Strong verbal/written communication & presentation skills.
  • §  Self-starter who is able to take initiative to drive results with minimal supervision.
  • §  Ability to analyze a situation, define a solution and see through to resolution.
  • §  Ability to excel in an extremely fast-paced environment  with continually changing priorities and demands.
  • §  Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • §  A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude are a must.
