Wise Medical Billing (WMB) is seeking a motivated IT Network Associate to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in IT networking or a related field and possesses a strong understanding of network configuration, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls. The associate supports LAN and WAN infrastructures, helping ensure seamless network operations and security. This position requires careful attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining reliable IT services that support critical business functions. The role operates within a dynamic environment that values continuous learning and practical exposure to real-world systems and networks. It offers hands-on experience with networking tools and network security protocols under a collaborative team setting.
The IT Network Associate works directly with the IT team to monitor network performance, resolve connectivity issues, assist employees with network-related queries, and keep detailed records of network configurations. The position is full-time, office-based, with working hours from 6 PM to 3 AM Pakistan time, Monday through Friday, ensuring weekends off for rest. While this role does not involve managing a team, it encourages collaboration with colleagues to improve and upgrade existing IT systems. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure network integrity.
- Monitor network performance continuously and promptly resolve connectivity and hardware issues to maintain system uptime.
- Support and manage LAN and WAN infrastructure, ensuring efficient and secure communication channels across the company.
- Implement and uphold network security measures including firewall management, VPN configuration, and adherence to network security protocols.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and correct network faults and interruptions.
- Assist employees by providing technical support and resolving network-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Keep accurate documentation of network configurations, IP addressing, subnetting, and system changes for compliance and operational purposes.
- Collaborate with the IT team to evaluate current network systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance and security.
- Utilize network monitoring tools to track network health, anticipate potential issues, and optimize resource allocation.
- Configure and manage VLANs and routing protocols to ensure efficient data flow within and between networks.
- Maintain updated knowledge of network technologies and best practices for continuous professional growth and enhanced network management.
