Work Together is seeking an experienced Construction Manager specializing in gray structure projects to lead and oversee residential construction activities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in project management with 10 years of industry experience, focusing specifically on residential houses and gray structure phases. This role requires hands-on expertise in managing construction scheduling, cost estimation, quality control, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget. The candidate will have the critical responsibility of supervising site activities and directing a team of 10 persons to maintain high construction standards and timely delivery.
The Construction Manager will coordinate all aspects of gray structure construction phases from groundwork, framework, masonry, and concrete work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality benchmarks. This leadership position requires excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage diverse teams and resources effectively. The manager also acts as the primary point of contact between contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve issues promptly. This role demands a proactive approach toward problem-solving and optimizing construction processes within residential projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all gray structure construction activities on residential projects to meet project deadlines and milestones.
- Supervise and manage a team of 10 construction personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Conduct cost estimation and budgeting for gray structure phases to ensure project costs are controlled and aligned with financial goals.
- Oversee quality control by inspecting construction work and materials to comply with specifications and industry standards.
- Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize construction workflow and reduce downtime.
- Ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment on site.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution and timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, site reports, and compliance records for internal tracking and client updates.
- Implement corrective actions for any delays or quality concerns to keep the project on schedule and within scope.
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status, challenges, and completion forecasts.
