WorkMobile Private Limited is looking to hire a frontend developer for its office in Lahore, Pakistan. WorkMobile is an award winning business providing cloud based mobile data capture services. It has its headquarters in Manchester UK. We are looking for candidates with a proven, rock solid background. Candidates should possess experience in Photoshop, HTML, JQuery, Java script, JQuery third party plugins, controls and frameworks along with a good understanding of responsive, fluid UI and hybrid apps. Candidates with experience of working in the UK or other English speaking countries are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Be a part of a talented software engineering team to deliver high quality reliable software to UK based product innovator
A hands on attitude and the desire to code
Delivery focused with an emphasis on quality
Liaison with peers in UK and team locally to provide design ideas and implement those
Work closely with development team
Input into company on different aspects of product design and how to improve those
Education and Experience
4-6 years relevant full life cycle software development experience
Experience with understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Proficient understanding of code visioning tools, such as GIT/TFS
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
Experience of working with foreign client is a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge and understanding about agile development environment
Understanding of SOA and SaaS (WCF, Restful services) would be a plus
Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
