- Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
- Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- Generally required knowledge includes HVAC control systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.
- Effective interpersonal skills to properly represent the company in an ethical and professional manner.
- Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
- Support the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical building automation equipment on a job site.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Professional in appearance and presentation.
- Effective in oral and written communication.
- Fabrication and metal working.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Measuring and cutting metals.
- MUST have all necessary knowledge of work tools.
- MUST have all necessary site required PPE.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 (Five) years + experience in sheet metal mechanics with tools.
