We require Solar PV Technician who will be responsible for assembling, installation or mantainance of Solar Power systems.
Responsibilities
- Understand solar panel installation plans, mapping out the steps of the installation.
- Install, inspect and mantain solar panels, inverters and battery banks.
- Perform all work needed to connect solar system to electric grid.
- Program, adjust, or configure inverters and controls for desired set points and operating modes.
- Perform all levels of maintenance on solar power system equipment including, but not limited to inspection PM’s, battery tests and replacements, load banks, capacitor and fan replacements.
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Take ownership of an assigned task and see it through to a successful completion.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.
- Comply with HSE routines.
- Perform minor civil and mechanical work required for assembling support structures, battery racks etc.
Physical Requirements
- Heavy physical effort when required.
- Work in adverse weather conditions as needed.
- Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces.
- Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, and parts.
- Prolonged, extensive standing/walking.
