Job Description
You will be a part of a supportive and creative team located in our office in Sialkot. You will be responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Developer to join our growing team. Your primary focus will be to work in PHP (Laravel), Javascript (Angular), HTML5/CSS3, SQL to create a high-quality web API and provide Laravel support to Senior Developers. Back-end Developer duties and responsibilities
- Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle
- Collaborate with Front-end developers
- Define and communicate technical and design requirements
- Provide training, help and support to other team members
- Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
- Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codes
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Learn about new technologies
- Stay up to date with current best practices
- Conduct UI tests and optimize performance
- Follow new and emerging technologies
We will require that you have a test application to prove your skills and to do some live coding before you are awarded the job.
You will require your own laptop.
Qualification Requirements
- MSc or BSc in Computer Science
Proven Experience
- 1 -3 years experience minimum building successful web applications with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript. (AJAX)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience in building APIs
PHP Experience
- Backend: PHP (preferably Laravel framework)
- Automated deployment (LAMP)
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Knowledge of object orientated PHP programming
Preferred Experience
- Express.js
- Postman
- Mongodb
- Expert knowledge of REST + JSON API
- Swagger + Sentry
- Angular 2+
- Javascript / Typescript
- AWS (EC2, RDS and S3)
- Web Sockets
- Socket IO
- Pusher
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
Work Experience
- Strong communication and documentation skills with strong attention to detail
- Work in an open, highly collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
