Job Description

MYTM Sales team require sales management and sales generation by  supporting and development of the Sales team members to ensure the efficient and profitable day to day operation of the department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the monitoring and supporting of staff in all aspects of daily sales operations. He will be fully focused on ensuring that the department meets or exceeds established revenue and sales targets. He will use sound business development skills to increase sales and have in-depth knowledge of how bookings work, typical processes, best practices and strong closing skills.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Oversee day to day functions of sales team.
  • Daily sales meetings and push forward sales to meet the maximum targets.
  • Provides ongoing coaching and motivation to team to increase sales targets.
  • Sales generation through commercial and corporate industries.
  • Review and analyzes sales targets at the end of each day, week, month, quarter and year to increase revenue.
  • Maintains all goals set for department and does what it takes to meet them each and every day.
  • One-on-one meetings, team meetings and coaching and counseling sessions as needed
  • Analyze, report and improve on performance, growth and sales
  • Follows all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Services and monitors current accounts and recommends new travel vendor business relationships.
  • Accurately completes reports and maintains current files.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in both in-bound and out-bound sales.
  • Strong Sales Management Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to get positive results through influence, coaching and demonstration.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; 
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Prior sales experience
  • Expert knowledge of the Travel Industry and the ability to keep up to date with the cutting edge trends.
  • Strong communication skills, computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through computer systems.
  • Effective oral, interpersonal and listening skills.
