Lead and own IT delivery of projects/CRs and related development activities and tasks throughout the project lifecycle

  • Ensure and adhere to SDLC & Agile methodologies
  • Maintain effective working relationship with business and IT teams and ensure IT delivery of projects/CRs and deliverables in accordance with approved plans
  • Maintain and ensure Change management process to enable successful IT project/CRs delivery minimizing impact on timelines, cost and quality
  • Analyze business requirements to estimate feasibility and efforts in coordination with Vendor delivery team.
  • Ensuring sign off of the relevant documentation in accordance with SDLC, Agile and Project management methodologies
  • CRs/Projects status reporting as per the Bank’s defined processes and formats.
  • Develop and finalize BCR/FRS for business requirements and arrange signoff.
  • Maintain and make sure that test environments are in working condition after the changes/patches are deployed.
  • Coordinate with business / vendor for SIT/UAT support and for resolution of issues.
  • Escalate / Follow up of issues with Vendor to ensure resolution of issues ensuring TAT.
  • Provide support in releasing to production following Bank’s release process.
  • Analysis of issues in custom components and delivering in-house development of fixes, as and when applicable. 
  • Coordination with other bank’s internal teams for dependent IT delivery of projects/CRs, development activities, UAT, release, deployment, go live issue resolution etc.
  • Manage and ensure transition from project/CR to production and successful handover to support team.
  • Providing knowledge transfer across the teams.
  • Ensuring adherence to bank’s information security policies and other guidelines, policies and processes.
  • Quality assurance for assigned projects/CRs and development activities.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of direct experience in delivering solutions in iMAL system through PATH Solutions.
  • Direct hands-on experience on iMAL modules including but not limited to
  • Excellent knowledge of UNIX and Oracle, PL/SQL to develop database procedures etc to deliver related requirements.
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication and listening skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytic skills to isolate problems, recommend solutions and implementation of solutions.
  • Should be able to clearly understand business requirements and translate them to BCR for Delivery with iMAL Vendor.
  • Should be able to understand new products based on business requirements to parameterize new products in system.
