As part of our development team, we are looking to bring in a Backend Developer – Node.js Developer, proficient in developing APIs with SOLID principles that will help shape and drive the technical output of our projects.
Requirement and Skills.
- 1-2 years of experience in Node.js and JavaScript.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience in Node.js Rest APIs, Web development, NodeJS frameworks like Express / Axios.
- Hands-on experience in RDBMS (MySql) or NoSQL Databases (Firebase)·
- Understanding of code versioning tools (Git, Git Flow)·
- Can work in agile development methodologies and practices·
- Fundamental concepts like Routing, Views, Controllers, Middleware, Models & Migrations, Requests, and Responses.
- Familiar with QA activities and can write Unit Tests·
- Familiar with Design Patterns·
- Familiar with REST Clients Postman, Swagger, etc·
- Hands-on experience of any cloud platform such as AWS, Heroku and Google Cloud, etc·
- Capable of Code Reviews, Code standardization, and Code security compliance·
- Familiar with technical documentation and API documentation·
- Capable of developing estimates and schedules against the project requirements.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Experience of working with Microsercies architecture would be preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables, both short and long-term, in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
