What are we looking for?Have you ever worked in fast food and desert restaurants before? If you have, you will have some idea of what’s involved in working here, but you might not realise the variety and scope of the role. You will be working as part of great a team to prepare and serve the best flamboyant Food, Desserts & Drinks.Specific responsibilities include overseeing the creation of our visual feast of products and looking after our customers’ needs, whether you’re welcoming at the door, serving behind the counter, working on the till or being out and about in the dining areas making sure we are delivering a fantastic experience.We are looking for staff to support our Managers & Directors to build, develop and lead their teams to create Escape from the Ordinary customer moments while maintaining our exacting operational standards for our product and place and driving performance to achieve and exceed targets.
What can you bring to Yankee Hut?You’ll be more than capable of assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of our day to day operation, supervising shifts to ensure that sales, profitability and standards are maximised and all procedures are followed. You’ll support the team at every opportunity, and at the same time make it fun!You’ll need to be confident in approaching and dealing with our diverse range of customers. Friendly, courteous and helpful behaviour will come naturally to you and you’ll work well as part of a team. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening and the ability to hold positive face-to-face conversations with eye contact and smiles are a must.You’ll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards of food quality and service with all the associated requirements for hygiene, health and safety, staff deployment and stock control. You’ll enjoy rising to the challenge of our fast moving high energy environment, and be ambitious to develop your career with us.This positions involves working shifts over a 7-day operation and during evenings, so flexibility will be required.
