Z-Tech, a tech startup that’s working in conjunction with an established National US company is looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer. We are looking for someone with the ability to manage, design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS.
Responsibilities
· Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS CodeStar/CodeDeploy.
· Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS.
· Selecting the appropriate AWS service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements.
· Responsible for making sure all critical data is backed up.
· Estimating/Managing AWS costs and identifying cost control mechanisms.
· Work with and assist developers where needed.
· Work directly with QA, and fellow developers to define and deploy projects.
Skills
· Proficient with maintaining Amazon Simple Storage Service, EC2/EBS, DynamoDB, Simple Queue Service, Simple Notification Service, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Lambda, AWS CLI, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Workspaces, IAM and Security Policies and much more.
· Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, Nginx, Apache, TCP/IP, and Networking.
· Working in an agile/scrum sprint cycle.
· Proficient in GIT Versioning Control.
· Good English written and communication skills.
