SEO Specialist - On-Page / Off-Page / Technical SEO

We are looking for a skilled and results-driven SEO Specialist to manage and improve the search engine performance of our client websites across various industries. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page link building, keyword research, and SEO content optimisation.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys analysing websites, fixing issues, researching keywords, and implementing strategies that deliver measurable ranking improvements.

Key Responsibilities

On-Page SEO

Optimise meta tags (titles, descriptions, headers)
Improve site structure, internal linking, and URL optimisation
Optimise content for target keywords
Conduct content gap analysis
Improve site speed, user experience, and Core Web Vitals

Technical SEO

Perform full website audits & fix critical issues
Analyse and improve sitemap, robots.txt, indexing, and crawlability
Identify and fix technical errors (404s, redirects, canonical issues, schema markup)
Work with developers to implement SEO-friendly changes
Ensure mobile-first optimisation and page performance

Off-Page SEO

Build high-quality backlinks through ethical strategies
Outreach to bloggers, publishers, and relevant websites
Competitor backlink analysis
Manage citations and brand mentions

Keyword Research & Strategy

Conduct advanced keyword research
Analyse competition and search intent
Develop ranking strategies for short-tail and long-tail keywords
Build keyword maps and content plans

Reporting & Analysis

Track organic performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools
Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports
Monitor ranking changes and provide recommendations

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 1–3 years of SEO experience
Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog
Practical experience with on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to optimise content for SEO
Understanding of EEAT, keyword intent, and modern SEO best practices
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualification

Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or Wix
Knowledge of HTML/CSS (basic)
Familiarity with schema markup
Experience with local SEO
Understanding of content writing frameworks (optional)
