Zapkam is a UK based brand that manufactures custom made sports wear in Pakistan.
The company is looking for a reliable individual who has a minimum of 3 years experience in quality control assurance and checking.
The job role will be based at the company's main factory and will include:
1 - Checking the sizing of products for each pattern, vs. size guides supplied by UK head office, including any custom requirements or special instructions
2 - Checking that the materials have passed their wash tests for colour fastness and running, colour of material matches main interlock polyester shade used and communication of any issues such as materials out of stock
3 - Checking of any new patterns, including a size check and communicating images with head office to sign off
4 - Checking of club logos to ensure that club logo height and width, positioning and clarity of embroidery or print is acceptable and meets the specification sheet requirements, including any special instructions
5 - Checking of sponsor logos to ensure that sponsor logo height and width, positioning and clarity of embroidery or print is acceptable and meets the specification sheet requirements, including any special instructions
6 - Checking of any numbers, names or initials to ensure that the size, font and positioning of embroidery or print is acceptable and meets the specification sheet requirements, including any special instructions
7 - Checking of stitching requirements, such as correct tension of thread, thread material depending on product, overlocking, bartacks on zips and double stitching in a zigzag effect to improve durability
8 - Working with and checking factory staff's ability to upload all sublimation, club logo and sponsor logo checking sheets and actual photos of finished sublimation or logos onto the Zapkam online quality control checking system for HQ's approval
9 - Communicating with HQ about any production issues through Trello project management software.
10 - Communicating with HQ twice weekly through e-mail, an Excel spreadsheet about the progress of all items in production, using a template supplied
11 - Updating the Zapkam online QC spreadsheet with details of which items are contained in a shipment and all tracking details
12 - Communcating with HQ all tracking details of a shipment after it has left the factory
13 - Overseeing production to ensure it is running on time and communicating any bottlenecks or production issues to HQ to communicate with factory managers
14 - Working with factory staff to ensure they are using and keeping records of the Zapkam quality control checking sheets
