We are seeking a skilled and experienced MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) Developer to join our dynamic software development team. As a MERN Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack. Your primary focus will be on the development of robust and scalable applications that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Write efficient and reusable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile development environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues reported by clients or internal stakeholders.
- Document technical specifications, system architecture, and development processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a MERN Developer or Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications developed using the MERN stack.
- Solid understanding of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and their core principles.
- Proficient in front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related frameworks/libraries (e.g., Redux, Bootstrap, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of server-side JavaScript frameworks like Express.js and Node.js.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases and writing efficient database queries.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of software security best practices and experience implementing secure coding practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and writing unit and integration tests.
