We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our software development team. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications that meet the needs of our clients. While knowledge of the Frappe Framework and ERPNext is not mandatory, it would be considered a significant advantage for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other developers, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and deploy Python-based applications, modules, and libraries.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, programming languages, and frameworks relevant to Python development.
- Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues reported by clients or internal stakeholders.
- Document technical specifications, system architecture, and development processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of Python-based projects.
- Solid understanding of Python programming language and its core principles.
- Proficient in Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Frappe Framework and ERPNext.
- Experience developing or customizing ERP systems.
- Understanding of web technologies and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and frameworks.
