Role Summary:

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for guiding Sales and Marketing teams for apposite data gathering of the retail industry and then driving data-based decisions on it. You will help define and execute data strategy for Zeta Technologies
In this role, you will work with data to provide recommendations to senior management and discover the story behind the data to help the company excel. You will gain a deep understanding of our data in order to identify issues, trends, and opportunities using Data Analytics tools that will help to uncover growth opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research, identify opportunities, and develop solutions to enhance the quality and performance of our data assets
- Ensures quality and reliability of data obtained from sources and offline data sources (ensuring that data contains required information for analytics and modeling)
- Perform rigorous analysis and correlation on data assets for actionable items and business direction
- Use product analytics to understand how our customers use our platform, and help guide decisions on future improvements and optimizations we can make
- Perform competitive research to identify product gaps as well as prioritize new innovation to differentiate the product
- Build customized interactive reports and dashboards for management review and to address strategic business queries
- Orchestrate the delivery of new workflows and improvements by partnering with engineering, design, marketing, sales teams
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to devise meaningful conclusions
- Function independently with little to no supervision, proactively taking ownership of key analytical projects
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws
Specifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in the fields of market research, data manipulation, data integration, statistical analysis, data sampling & visualization
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business, Mathematics or Statistics with outstanding analytical expertise
- Data management specifically to retail insights will be a value addition
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially advanced Excel expertise is a must
- Certifications in Data Analytics, Big Data (good to have)
- Strong SQL / Unix / Linux / Shell Scripting Skills
- Experience with non-relational & relational databases
- Business Analytics ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) & Reporting experience
- Experience with Data Analysis in Power BI / Python / R utilities
- Experience of Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
