About The Position:
We are seeking a WordPress Developer for both back-end and front-end development, including working with WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript). Also, must have an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, deployment, and documentation. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal teams to implement new features and functionality
- Ensure high-performance and availability
- Build websites, prototypes, and applications using the latest front-end technologies
- Provide timely resolution to reported problems with existing websites
- Work with project resources to achieve desired goals for web projects from conception to delivery
- Ensure all work is documented and adheres to industry best practiced
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience building websites, prototypes and applications
- PHP back-end development programming, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Knowledge and experience in building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice and standard plug-ins
- Experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
- Work with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git is a plus. (Optional, Added as a Plus)
- Strong attention to detail

Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with all levels and functions on a formal, informal, written and verbal basis.
