We’re looking for an experienced writer who can develop all kinds of content and takes pride in what he/she writes and can hit the ground running.
Core responsibilities will be generating content for videos (all genres), company’s social media and other marketing mediums. Our ideal candidate is fun to have around a table, and can brainstorm material with a small team.
We don't expect you to understand the full scope of the job right away. Simply put, we are looking for creative people to write great content.
Responsibilities:
- Generating ideas and content for videos – funny, serious, motivational, inspirational, emotional etc.
- Script writing, content generation for product brochures, presentations, emails, press releases, social media and other marketing mediums.
- Online and offline content creation and deployment.
- Creating content for promotional campaigns and projects as received.
- Should be a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary.
- Assist team memebers when needed to accomplish goals.
- Content Writing: Selecting appropriate topics, writing articles, writing creative for social media, generating innovative ideas/scripts for videos, blog postings etc.
- Developing content for company website and official digital platforms.
- Proof reading, editing and writing content on a regular basis.
- Copywriting for design development.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Solid writing background; with an experience of blogging and/or editing (grammar buffs wanted).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Impeccable at writing comedy material and pitching stories (all genres).
- Active online presence and familiarity with social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Wordpress, etc.).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Exhibits the perfect mix of creativity and analytical ability.
- Self-driven. Great organizational skills, integrity and great follow through on tasks.
- Naturally curious. Innovative, extremely creative, analytical and constantly looking for ways to improve upon things.
- Word savvy. Exceptional writing skills and can craft everything from emails and blog posts, easily adjusting tone/voice accordingly.
- Graceful. Self-aware, well-spoken and eloquent in the content development. As you'll be our voice.
- Fun. A charismatic people person who can talk to anyone; flexible, fearless, and excited to help build something awesome and share it with the world.
- Motivated. Understands the impact of a highly-satisfied, excited crew of users; and inclined to grinding away at issues.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Preferably someone with some experience but fresh graduates/under-graduates will be considered too (if good enough).
