- Manage and drive efficiency in core Finance processes such as financial planning, management reporting, business reviews, and business planning; identify organizational or financial process gaps that could jeopardize compliance or business success.
- To prepare financial reports that will summarize and forecast the financial position, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analysis of future earnings or expenses.
- Defining SOP’s of his respective department.
- To prepare Financial reports required by regulatory authorities.
- Identify risk, propose solutions and secure management buy-in to resolve; escalate as necessary.
- To oversee the accounting and budgeting areas.
- To oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, execute capital-raising strategies to support a firm's expansion, and deal with procurements.
- To establish credit-rating criteria, determine credit ceilings, and monitor the collections of past-due accounts.
- Monitor and control the flow of cash receipts and disbursements to meet the business and investment needs of the firm.
- Manage and drive the development of team members by providing the appropriate level of oversight, coaching and hands on involvement in agenda setting.
