Will help to safeguard the organization's computer networks and systems. The Information Security Engineer will be planning and carrying out security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks. Will assist the company in becoming fully HIPAA compliant.
Responsibilities
· Monitor, implement and engineer security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
· Design computer security and developing detailed cyber security designs
· Prepare and document standard operation procedures and protocols
· Configure and trouble-shoot security infrastructure devices
· Develop technical solutions and new security tools to mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
· Ensure that the company knows as much as possible about security incidents
· Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
Requirements
· Masters in Information Security
· Bachelor’s degree (preferably in IT)
· 1 to 3 years work experience in related field
· Excellent penetration testing skills
· Expert in HIPAA/HITECH compliance
· Good understanding of Web/Desktop/IOS application scanning
· Knowledge regarding log management (SIEM)
· Understanding of data loss prevention
· Intrusion detection system/Intrusion prevention system
· A good understanding of data and file activity monitoring
