• To ensure the provision of a high quality, comprehensive and responsive Human Resource service to the Company.
  • To oversee the staff recruitment, selection, induction and appraisal
  • To assist with the recruitment process as required, including personal attendance and the provision of good quality written documentation and delivery of administrative support.
  • To provide effective, timely and high quality advice and guidance to manager on legislation, all policies and procedures and good employment practice.
  • Manage and implement procedures relating to maternity leave, sickness leave, annual leave, bonus payments, overtime payments and induction and advising managers on such issues.
  • Manage advice and assist managers as appropriate on grievance, capability and disciplinary procedures for staff.
  • Monitor short term and probationary appointments, absence records and take follow up action where necessary.
  • Facilitate the production of management information/statistics and assisting with establishment planning activities as required.
  • Assist in ensuring prompt provision of adhoc reports as required
  • To assist in the collation and analysis of statistics relevant to the performance of the Company as an employer, particularly in the area of absenteeism, recruitment, equal opportunities and turnover.
  • To be responsible for ensuring the implementation of agreed quality standards
  • To update and maintain the HR record keeping system for all staff within the Company.
  • As may be required the postholder will support colleagues within the Company to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient HR services
  • The postholder will carry out such duties as are required to ensure the smooth running of the Company’s offices

EXTERNAL LIAISON

  • To ensure effective liaison of others in the Company with relevant agencies.
  • To engage that relevant providers and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of the Company’s offices
  • QUALITY
  • To ensure that the provision of HR advice is of the highest quality and in line with the Company aims and objectives
  • To ensure that the Company’s office is managed to the highest standards and the needs of relevant stakeholders is taken into account.

GENERAL DUTIES

  • To work closely with colleagues within the Company Management Team to promote a corporate approach to the organisation and management of the office and the staff.
  • To promote a positive image of the Company.
  • To carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required by the Company.
