Zone Exa is currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer to work for one of our customers in the US. You will be working from 5pm to 8pm in the office, and from 9pm till 2am from home. Role and Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations.
- Uses technical expertise to provide accurate and creative solutions to user problems in a timely manner.
- Researches, resolves, and responds to questions/queries received via call, emails, and call backs.
- Logs call data and trouble tickets into a central database or help desk system.
- Provides a high degree of courteous and helpful customer service at all times.
- Provides regular continuous improvement ideas and solutions to increase the effectiveness of support services.
- Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
- PC Hardware support with network cards, monitors, video cards etc.
- Support Printers, Scanners and Faxes.
- Assist in the setup of new PC’s.
- Perform daily backups.
- Install desktop software upgrades as needed.
- Manage software licensing
- Provide end user support on desktop, Windows, Office, etc.
- Technical Support engineer will directly report to sys admin.
- Responsible to perform additional tasks as assigned.
Education Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- MCITP/MCSE , Windows 7/8/10 (Certification/Training)
- Additional Professional courses would be preferred
Work Environment
- 5pm to 8pm in the office
- 9pm to 2am from home
Preferred Skills
- Candidate must have good spoken English
- Customer Services/ Quality Assurance Background needed
