• Senior Windows Administrator position is accountable for design, installation, maintenance, security, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software for IT infrastructure.
  • Existing/proposed infrastructure consists of on-premises and cloud (Microsoft Azure) Windows Domain Controllers, VMware Farms, File and Print Servers, Microsoft SQL Server clusters, and other Windows App Servers, VDI Desktops/Laptops, Network Printers, Remote Access Capabilities and SAN/NAS storage.
  • Responsible for planning and maintaining secure, effective and efficient computing environment. The incumbent’s focus is on administration of Windows systems, including operating procedures and security policy compliance, as they relate to the Windows platform and supporting physical and virtual infrastructure.
  • The incumbent maintains Office’s Windows systems and servers by installing systems software, updating new releases and performing tuning activities.
  • Maintains secure Windows computing environment. Security duties include adherence to HIPAA, CAP as well as internal IT Security policy, drafting and adherence to server procedures and participation in audits as required.
  • The incumbent is responsible for security event logging and monitoring.
  • The incumbent is responsible for research and evaluation of hardware/software products that will best meet needs of IT. The incumbent initiates and tracks hardware as well as software purchase orders for IT. In addition, the incumbent keeps abreast of software revisions for installed applications and recommends upgrades as necessary.
  • Supports users by addressing problems and needs in a timely and cordial manner, and provides training to users individually/collectively regarding effective use of network resources, including end-user tools and application software.
  • The incumbent maintains frequent communications with the remote users to ensure that users are able to access information from company servers/computers.
  • Develops and maintains accurate and up-to-date user and system documentation. Documentation includes, but is not limited to, operational procedures, network diagrams and preferred vendor contacts.
  • Assist and support technical support personnel as needed.
  • The incumbent assists management in preparing policies and procedures that will contribute to effective IT Operations.
  • Provides technical leadership during projects and core tasks, and fully participates in all facets of IT system administration.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform duties of a Technical lead for Windows Infrastructure projects
  • Implement new products and solutions
  • Prepare and help maintain policies and procedures that will contribute to effective operations.
  • Participate in patching process for Windows systems
  • Support business continuity infrastructure and procedures
  • Train team members on new/updated policies and procedures
  • Address and resolve issues forwarded in a timely and cordial manner.
  • Maintain and execute backup and recovery procedures for the Servers, Storage and Virtualization infrastructure; participate in business continuity activities and exercises
  • Perform Windows Administrator operational duties as required
  • Perform trend analysis, capacity and availability management, and developing and reporting metrics for management regarding the health of infrastructure
  • Support Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications
  • Be available on-call as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' network administration experience with Windows Server, MS Exchange and Vmware environments. MSCE certification is preferred.
  • The candidate should have prior administration experience with some or all of the following: EMC SAN, Exchange and Lync, Group Policy management, Active Directory management, Distributed File System (DFS) Management, SQL Servers, SCCM/SCSM servers, backup servers, and document management servers.
  • Office 365 experience (installation, configuration and maintenance) and PowerShell scripting is a huge plus.
  • Degree is preferred – B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
  • Ability to initiate and complete assignments accurately and on time, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential to this role, and ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing in US English language.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented, and able to conduct independent technical research sharing results with management and/or peers.
  • Must have a team player attitude.
  • Rs. 250,000 sign-up bonus for individuals with HL7 integration experience.
