About the Role:

The role is to manage global projects aligned to Zones’s EUC and Lifecycle Framework in the markets it operates across EMEA.  The Project Manager will work closely with the LCM Portfolio Manager and operational delivery teams to own and manage the complete end to end lifecycle of projects from Pre-Sales to Initiation, Delivery, Service Transition to Closure in accordance with Zone’s Global Project Management and operational processes. The Project Manager will have direct line management responsibility for all Project Coordinators

This is an exciting opportunity for the candidate to help Zones grow the operational and EUC space and increase its footprint across EMEA. The role will work closely with the Portfolio Manager and Director of Services  to enable the continual growth of Zones Lifecycle Services and its operations in EMEA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively work with the LCM Portfolio Manager and the Sales team to drive the presales process by the creation of commercial proposals with the aim to win and execute
• Team Lead and manage Project Coordinators by delegating work and deliverables and directing the team
• Produce Statement of Works related to the services Zones will be and define the correct operational an quality processes
• Delivery of multiple customer projects from Sales through to Delivery in accordance with Zones Project Management methodology while ensuring cost, quality and time parameters are actively managed
• Management of multiple teams including external partners and suppliers
• Commercial accountability of customer projects, while always ensuring that Zones’ reputation is maintained, and projects are delivered within the agreed commercial scope/boundaries
• Manage the Profit and Loss of customer projects, while maintaining profitability
• Drive high customer satisfaction and drive scalability of Zones Warehousing, Logistics and EUC Deployment
• Deliver a predictable, reliable, and exceptional customer experience
• Ability to manage high profile, high complexity projects on a very short time scale, including issue resolution
• Adhere to Zones Project Governance and Project Framework
• Establish and maintain relationships and communications at all levels of the organisation
• Support senior managers across business lines in strategic analysis, project scoping and approach definition
• Work closely with the LCM Portfolio Manager to promote continuous improvement as per the department’s strategy and initiatives
• Provide all management reporting as required by the Services Department

WE’RE SEEKING CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: 

·        Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of technical project management experience or

with at least five years managing medium, complex IT projects which demonstrate a broad and deep understanding of complex business processes, multiple platforms and language technologies and financial management

ACCREDITATIONS/LICENSES, ETC.:

• PMP Certification / PRINCE 2
• ITIL

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Line Management and Team Leading Experience
• Experience in Project Delivery in a commercial environment
• Adherence to Project Management Framework and Governance
• Exceptional communication skills and experience working with C-level constituents
• Extensive experience in developing and managing small to medium engagements, managing the profitability and successfully meeting the customer's expectations and goals
• Experience and success in managing service level agreements with penalties
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to proactively develop and implement strategies that significantly mitigate risk
• Ability to work and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in EUC, Supply Chain, Lifecycle Services, Operations
