Training Developer, Zones Digital Innovation Center

The Training Developer will be a key member of the digital transformation team at Zones. We are looking for individuals who want to grow professionally and make an impact on the business transformation of a $2 billion USD company.

The Zones Digital Innovation Center is a global network of Digital-First accelerators in Seattle, New York, and Islamabad. Here, Zones \"intrapreneurs\" work with Zones' business leaders, industry partners, and customers to develop and scale innovative ideas into valuable businesses. The Training Developer is responsible for educating both colleagues and customers on Zones impressive suite of Digital Tools as well as driving adoption of Zones Digital Tools. Zones Digital Tools is a suite of cutting-edge, data-first service and enablement tools that empower Zones employees to have a better, more efficient day and ensure customers are aware of the entirety of their relationship with Zones.

Who You Are:

  • You are a dynamic, multifaceted individual who has a background in training and education with experience with enterprise platforms.
  • You also have a keen interest and understanding of ecommerce and metrics reporting processes, and a focus on helping customers and colleagues have a more successful day.
  • You possess knowledge of agile processes and principles.
  • You possess intellectual curiosity, out of box thinking, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work/influence across multiple stakeholder groups.

You Possess:

  •  Experience in developing and deploying and delivering impactful training materials ideally for software products
  •  You are comfortable engaging with customers and colleagues to both deliver training classes as well as to ensure measurable adoption of Zones Digital Tools
  •  Possess strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  •  Solution-driven with the ability to understand the big picture
  •  2+ years proven experience in e-learning training course design and development
  •  Proven experience in e-learning course development tools (i.e. Captivate)
  •  LMS experience (i.e. Absorb) preferred
  •  Experience in marketing, communications, or project management preferred
  •  IT industry (i.e. major IT manufacturer brands) experience preferred
  •  Detail-oriented with effective communication skills
  •  Customer-focused passion
  •  Results-driven, metrics oriented
  •  Proficiency in MS Office products
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly with a high degree of resilience
  •  Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously with minimal direction
  •  Must work US hours

You Will Be Responsible For:

  •  Developing impactful education materials for Zones employees and Zones customers that ensure the recipients use and adopt each of Zones Digital Tools
  •  Delivering training sessions for Zones employees and Zones customers not limited to tool specific trainings but also ongoing feature focused sessions and ad hoc trainings as needs are identified
  •  Serving as the first line of support for Zones Digital Tools as potential issues are identified
  •  Assisting in surfacing and identifying new requirements and features for Zones Digital Tools and enhancing Zones’ Digital Assistant
  •  Participating in User Acceptance testing of new features for each of Zones Digital Tools
  •  You will learn, grow professionally, contribute to a fantastic team, and play a key role in fueling a massive learning and learning recognition change.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • · 7 to 10 years of training and communication experience in a professional environment
  • · B.S/B.A. education
