Position Overview

The MS Dynamics AX Supply Chain Functional Consultant is responsible for the implementation of Dynamics AX solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation of the AX system and to ensure that all business requirements are addressed
• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts to review & finalize functional specification for required implementation
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements and development of user stories
• Develop work-breakdown structures
• Provide risk assessment
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the solution
• Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to AX
• Train AX business users
• Provide second and third-level support to business users
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and system configuration issues

Required Skills

• 5+ years required of experience in following areas:
• Implementation experience required in Microsoft Dynamics AX platform
• Good understanding of all AX modules especially Supply chain 
• Knowledge of AX integration with other systems
• Broad spectrum knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience in one or more development methodologies including Agile, SCRUM, or Waterfall
• Strong customer service orientation
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Logical, efficient & proactive
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas 
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Comfortable with ambiguity and possess an ability to adapt quickly and easily. 
• Ability to analyze complex problems and move them to resolution
• Background and style that elicits respect in the organization through style of engagement, technical depth, customer service and results
• Positive attitude and ability to build strong relationships within the company and with external partners.
