Position Overview

Our contract managers play a critical role in the management of our agreements with customers, suppliers, providers, and vendors.  You will ensure that Zones is fulfilling our contract obligations by communicating with key stakeholders, producing reports, and managing and updating various tools and repositories of agreements and related information. You will also perform various other administrative duties as assigned.  

Key Responsibilities

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

The Contract Manager will:

·         Produce and distribute reports which document usage of public sector contracts and ensure prompt payment of any contract fees.

·         Maintain contract-at-a-glance reference documents to guide our public sector sales teams.  

·         Serve as the program manager, when the position is required for larger public sector contracts.

·         Enter and manage the data used in our CRM system to determine appropriate contract pricing for public sector customers. 

·         Assist in the management of Zones’ agreements with corporate and healthcare customers when needed. This may include driving the process for renewing, extending, and/or terminating these agreements.

·         Answer basic questions from our sales teams and other stakeholders about our obligations under our existing agreements.

·         Lead special projects related to our executed agreements. 

·         Review and archive newly executed agreements, ensuring that key clauses are saved in a SharePoint list.

·         Draft other documents, as needed, such as letters and simple amendments.

·         Assist in the creation of other departmental reports, when requested.

·         Address other legal tasks, as directed by the Manager, Contract Operations. 

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience

·         5-10 years of experience working in legal operations or contract management. 

·         Effectively manages multiple tasks and prioritizes work to meet established service level agreements.

·         Works in a self-directed manner to complete items with the highest degree of accuracy, judgement, integrity, and creativity.

·         Possesses a perfectionist mindset and an intense focus on details.

·         Interacts and builds positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders with a pleasant, professional demeanor.

·         Works comfortably in a fast-paced environment and picks up new skills and concepts quickly. 

·         Employs a strong command of MS Office products (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint) and the ability to learn how to utilize new applications.
